We are excited to announce an important step forward in the BeeSports journey.From this term onwards, our BeeSports Bromley and BeeSports Orpington groups will officially merge into one larger basketball community.

This is more than just bringing two groups together - it is about creating a stronger learning environment where every player has more opportunities to develop, compete, and enjoy the game.

What is Changing?

To ensure consistency and provide the best possible experience, the merged group will train at our existing BeeSports Orpington venue: Bishop Justus Church of England School

All sessions will continue using the current Orpington schedule, allowing players and families to enjoy a smooth transition with minimal disruption.

The session structure remains:

• Under 7s: 40-minute session
• Under 11s: 40-minute session
• Under 14s: 50-minute session
• Under 16s: 50-minute session

At BeeSports, every decision we make is focused on improving the experience and development of our players.

By combining our Bromley and Orpington communities, we can create larger training groups that provide a more engaging and rewarding environment for everyone.

One of BeeSports' greatest strengths has always been its community.

By bringing our Bromley and Orpington players together, we're creating new friendships, stronger team spirit, and an even more vibrant basketball culture.

Whether a player has been with us for years or is attending their very first session, everyone will continue to receive the same welcoming, inclusive coaching environment that BeeSports is known for.

Supporting Our Player Development Pathway

This merger also strengthens our long-term player development pathway.

As our groups continue to grow, players will have clearer opportunities to progress from beginner training into competitive basketball through our Surrey Basketball League teams and beyond.

Larger training groups allow us to better identify player development, build stronger teams, and prepare athletes for the next stage of their basketball journey.
